Review on Bridgestone Blizzak Spike-02 185/65 R15 88T winter by Jnis Pimberis ᠌

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Here in Siberia, where it regularly snows and freezes over, there are roads up to my ears. With fond recollections of the 5,000 breeches that once graced the Honda, I went with the runs and choose the breeches. After putting spikes on two vehicles and skating for two seasons, I can confidently tell that there has been very little wear on the spikes and that they are all still in place, despite one vehicle racking up more than 10,000 kilometers in snowy driving conditions. The tire does not darken in temperatures between -25 and -35 degrees Fahrenheit; it exhibits acceptable and predictable road behavior; it rows in the snow until it lands on its belly. Apparently louder than the rolling Nokia on Velcro I did before it. I did find one drawback, though; at temperatures around freezing, it tends to tip over on its side; Nokia, once again, swam harder in this arena. The third season is coming up, and I highly recommend these wheels, which I rolled myself and are in the budget category.

Pros
  • Superior snow-rowing performance, robust sidewall, excellent directional stability, ice-biting bite, and long-lasting tread life.
Cons
  • They're probably heavy, like a Nokia tire. Unlike friction rubber, sound waves can cause discomfort. Around 80 kilometers in, the rumble starts, which is to the credit of all studded tires.
