Pretty easy to install and works well.

Overall it was fairly easy to install and use. Good suction and no leakage. Some cons: 1) The instructions don't indicate which direction the check valve should be. The picture on Amazon shows the correct orientation, so my installation was not affected. In addition, I always check the function and tightness of the non-return valve before installation. Blow on the hose and you should only get airflow in one direction to make sure it's working and there are no leaks. I also hold my finger over the hose and blow to make sure the valve/hose is tight. Something I did with aquariums a year before installing it. It will also help you learn how to install the hose/check valve. 2) The holes in the lids of different sizes seem to be handmade. They are uneven and not smooth. I had to smooth out the holes to ensure tightness. Also, the caps are pretty thin. Even if they work, if you overtighten them, they'll come loose. However, this didn't seem to affect functionality. But I have to make sure my soap container has something against it so it doesn't fall off because the threads on the lid aren't tight enough and they leak when the soap falls off. 3) Check valve does not need to be pre-installed on a pipe. The reason is that I had to remove everything under the sink to get under the sink and then run a line through the soap dispenser pump hole to install it and it took me several tries (no one helped me). If a check valve was not installed, I could connect a hose to the pump and then run the hose through the top of the sink. This would have made the installation easier as I could then just attach the check valve to both pipes and complete the installation. 4) Another small issue is that you have to remove the pump hose to attach the rubber hose. The rubber hose was too thin to fit in the pump. I ended up reattaching the rigid hose to the pump and then attached the rubber hose to the rigid hose that is part of the pump. It's a lot easier to do it this way. I think depending on your pump you may or may not need to do this depending on the size of the tubing.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Easily repairable
