Review on 🔪 Victorinox 3.25 Inch Black Paring Knife: Premium Quality Kitchen Tool by Benjamin Chang

My personal favorite parer is the Global parer, super light and very strong; it looks like an extension of my hand. But my husband hates the handle so when we needed another paring knife I decided to try this one after hearing that Victorinox makes amazing knives for the price and he very much prefers the handle and feel of it. . He's tall and has big hands, so I think a long handle is better for him, and he doesn't like metal handles either. I liked it even though I love pens myself. At least it's not an ergonomic nightmare and it fits my little hands well, it's just not an extension of my hand. It wasn't as sharp as the Victorinox chef's knife I also bought for it, which is a shame as I don't know how to sharpen my own knives and haven't taken it to a professional sharpener yet. At least it holds its edge fairly well and doesn't require much sharpening. I like that the blade is good but the knife is so cheap that I don't gasp when I catch my husband opening a bottle with it. (I was very unhappy when he opened the packages with my Global!) If he scratched the blade it won't be difficult to replace it. But I'm still drawn to the Global primarily for cleaning jobs. Sorry Victorinox! You're not my only true love, but for the price you're a steal. In fact, I'm considering taking an extra knife for car trips as it's good enough to use without going crazy but cheap enough to risk losing and I don't need my best knife for travel.
