Review on 🔌 Sabrent Converter Prolific Chipset CB DB9P: Fast and Reliable Serial Port Adapter by Laura Arnett

Four stars because the driver situation was a bit sketchy but it is an invaluable addition to my toolbox. It came with a driver CD, which seems a bit archaic given that a modern laptop is almost as likely to have an optical drive as a serial port. So it takes you to the Sabrent website, which is fine, and they have 32 and 64 bit drivers for all your modern operating systems, which is good and right. When I tried to download it, I was redirected to a third-party website that had a counterfeit warning and a list of authorized suppliers that didn't list Sabrent. Well then. But it works, so if it's fake, it's good. Installation was easy and I had fun programming the switches in minutes like it was my job. When I think about it, it's my job so it worked out fine.
