Review on πŸ•΅οΈ Hunter Promenade 54-inch Indoor Ceiling Fan with LED Lights and Remote Control in Brittany Bronze by Shawna Adams

Strange fan/light operation

This fan is both confusing and annoying. The installation instructions show the correct wiring, especially if you have a switch or two, which means you use those switches to turn on or off. But the fan only seems to work if you turned the fan on and then turned it on with the remote. The light switch works in reverse. If the light switch is on and the remote control was used to turn off the light, the switch will turn on the light when you turn off the light. The remote control emits a loud fan sound with each press. The fan will then emit three loud beeps when the fan is pressed or the light is turned off with the remote control. Why? NOTHING in the description or manual says this fan beeps every time a button is pressed. My dog thinks smoke alarms chirp and he hates smoke alarms. I don't like that it beeps every time you press the remote. The instructions say to sync the remote when the fan emits three beeps. But then it also means that if you hear a beep after syncing, it's correct. I get both The light is not dimmed at all. The manual says you have to long-press the light button on the remote to dim the lights, but that just turns the lights off completely, along with those special three beeps to wake everyone up when they're asleep. I don't understand how to jump properly. through the tires to control this fan. It should be easy. Technology is more of a burden than a help here.
