The best thing about gamma was that it had been used by other people before me so I knew to expect certain things which made troubleshooting much easier than if we where starting from scratch with no prior knowledge of this product or how they worked.

It wasn't very good at creating backups because sometimes you would get an error message instead of actually backing up your data - something I don’t think any other program does as well! Some time ago (2-3 years) there were some issues when transferring files larger then 2GB due to OS limits but since then those problems seem fixed. If anyone wants a reliable backup solution go wth gamma!! We have many different clients using various types of databases, email systems, etc all backed up daily via gamma's software.
