Review on Lutron Maestro MACL-153M-WH LED+ Dimmer Single/Multi Pole White For LEDs, Halogen & Incandescent Bulbs by Darby Perkins

I did an internet search on 4-way dimmers and found nothing except this. Most said it wasn't possible or didn't exist. But this product showed up in the search. I read the reviews and answered questions on amazon. What I found was that if you order this with companion switches it will work as a 4 way dimmer. So I ordered it with 2 companion switches. I carefully opened the box (thinking I might have to return this) and read the directions. It said for 4 way or multiple applications to read the directions on the companion switch. This confirmed what I had been reading on amazon. (If you want 4-way you have to buy companions switches as well) So I read the companion directions, still skeptical. I am not close to being an electrician, so when I was taking 2 wires that went to 2 different terminals on the old 4-way switch and putting them in one terminal on the Maestro switch, I wondered if this was going to work. To my pleasant surprise it worked wonderfully. Just hit the switch on the Maestro or the 2 companions and the lights turn on to their last dimming setting or off. You don't have to worry about up or down. The dimmers work great on all 3 switches. I have this controlling 2 very bright LED fixtures in the kitchen/breakfast nook. I am very pleased with the dimming range. If they are off and you hit the up dim button, they come on to a low dim setting - very useful for a middle of the night time when you don't want to be blinded by the light.
