The product seemed quite thin to me. The rag did not easily screw into the end of the stand extension. I think it was deformed as it didn't fit the end of the rod snugly. However, it pulled tight enough to allow me to use it on a ceiling fan, although I was concerned it would come loose during dusting. For the price I paid I would have thought it would be better than it was - but what can I expect when I see it's made in China! I would not recommend this product to anyone!
