Review on πŸ”’ Sungrace 2 Pack Extra Long Y Spindle M8 Stair Banister Baby Gate Adaptors - Optimized for Dreambaby Pressure Mounted Security and Pet Safety Gates (White, 8mm) by Eduardo Frederick

Very discreet, doesn't keep the goal straight, but still worth the money.

Very decent, not as good as other alternatives but worth for the low price. Other solutions cost $80 or more, and some solutions only included one end for the round railing instead of two. I almost made my own solution which consisted of 2 good pieces of finished oak wood that velcroed to the railing to attach the gate but then I stumbled upon this solution and decided to give it a try. I had 2 problems, the first was that the seller listed the wrong screw size for them. I thought they would fit my summer gate but the studs were too small so they just fit into the gate instead of screwing in. 2) Because the bolts are in place and have some play, my gates are always a bit twisted and won't lock. I just have to pull the gate out a bit with my hand and then it snaps back into place, so it's not the end of the world. I can try to build something like a sleeve to remove play. The parts that come into contact with the railing are a bit ugly and unfinished and you have to use the foam that comes with it to avoid damaging the railing. Fully functional but it would be nice if they made it nicer. Possibly by rubberizing the ends and/or advancing the foam. However, as mentioned, I'm not complaining about the price, just suggesting. When I have free time I will paint the ends with rubber paint and cut the foam. All in all a good solution if you want to save some money and not drill or otherwise damage your railing.
