Good. I used the plastic holes (which I could never figure out which small holes to use. And got confused every time!) and measured and measured again and guessed the placement. Here is the tool. Ouch. My. My goodness. You thread the new grip through the guide holes for a perfect fit, slide the guides left/right/up/down according to your measurements until you center it. Tighten all the guides so they don't move and you're done! Remove the new handle/rod, install the tool on the drawer/door face and drill the guides! Super easy and accurate! LOVE IT! For dressers or drawers where you will place handles on each side of the drawer, install once - drill holes on the left side and then rotate for the holes on the right side / they line up perfectly the full length of the dresser off! So happy with this purchase!
