Review on High-Point RocketRAID 3742A 8 Internal, 8 External Channels 12GB/S PCIe 3.0 X8 SAS/SATA RAID Controller by Keyone Brownlee

The 3740A is a solid RAID card that I've used about a dozen times. Drivers only work after installation, you don't even need to update the firmware. All of this just works. Despite some uninformed reviewers, the 12Gb support works too. HighPoint doesn't have the best customer service, but since it's a hard product to screw up (besides buying a 6GB case and complaining about the lack of 12GB speed), it shouldn't matter much.
