I have a '67 Lemans and as it's a convertible I don't have any overhead lights except for a couple under the dash (which don't light up well). So I bought these little guys to pop into my custom center console to "light" it up inside when I wanted to, and they did just that! They are small but have little effect. I built 4 of these into the console (front, back and sides) and now you can find what you are looking for when you turn on the light. They are not too bright, 4 of them did their job for my interior. Yes, the wires are smaller, but I've had no problem splicing and soldering them to 16 gauge automotive wire. No problem. The only issue I had: I had to fall 1 apart when I pressed the nut onto the back. When he collapsed, little pressure was put on him. The other 4 didn't install but thought I'd mention it as I realized it's a big complaint (the reason I bought 8 packs not just the 4 I need). In general I am very happy with them. Hope they last many years.
