So. Somehow one of those crazy signs that tell you when to cross the street and when not to cross it ended up on my workbench. I tried connecting it to power and found that it needs a switch to work properly. Spring. I purchased this switch, patiently awaited its arrival, and then installed it in my newly purchased sign. IT WORKS OUT! I now have a functional conversation piece hanging in my garage. Hooray for switches!
