They look great in the dark except for the blue and purple. They hardly show themselves. Duct tape will not stick to anything for more than a few minutes unless you place it on a table or something that will lay flat. We tried hanging it around the door frame, on the outside of a perfectly smooth bookshelf, and other things in our dimly lit room. Most of it was thrown out on the first day because it kept falling to the ground. We even tried sealing it with clear tape, but it prevented it from glowing properly. I don't recommend this unless you put it on a table with glass or something transparent. That's probably the only way to stay put.
