I wanted them to work so badly, my 13 month old stays with his foot wedged in the crib almost once a night. They are secured with Velcro so any child who can hold on to them can do it. Since my son can stand, he also tries to stand on the net which makes it slide down and dangerous. I would not recommend it, velcro is not an ideal or safe method of attaching something to a crib. Small ties are pointless and too fragile to tie securely to make an impact. Don't waste your money/time. Ideally, such a product should be solid and you can tighten it so that it does not move. These are a few pieces and they are ONLY cut to fit size so you can only make them so tight.
