I was worried I would cook Swim Shady in its 1.5 gallon tank with this heater but it was amazing! I have a thermometer so I can check the temperature. and it stayed constant at 77-78°F. Perfect. My little fella didn't have a heater in his first pool, but since moving to a new house with a heater he has become noticeably more active. He's definitely enjoying himself and I love it! Since it doesn't have a preset temperature, I'd recommend bringing a thermometer with you to keep an eye on the tank and make sure everything is working properly. Patience. This heater will take a hot minute to get used to and find a constant warmth to sit on.
