Review on (Old Model) Toshiba Canvio Connect 500GB Portable Hard Drive by Brandon Peters

I bought this because my laptop has an SSD with just over 100GB of disk space. I use this to store games, school files and work files. For the first few weeks it randomly turned off like I had unplugged it and plugged it back in. When this happens I'm usually playing The Elder Scrolls Online or Guild Wars 2 so I get logged out and have to log back in again and again. But he hasn't done that since the first two weeks, so I think he's fine now. It's as quiet as any other spinning hard drive. I don't know the exact transfer rates, but since I can play modern MMOs on it, I would say the transfer is fast. It comes with some free software that you should skip. The price is the best, I would recommend it to a friend (my girlfriend now wants the same for her laptop). All in all a great product. I solved the original problem myself, I have no other complaints. It looks like a big flash drive (although it's really small compared to what I imagined).
