This is the third time in years that I have ordered a 4 slot charger and batteries. None of them were exceptional, but this one was the worst yet. A battery was not charged from the start. Two batteries charge but die within 30 minutes of use. Only one battery seemed to hold a charge for several hours. Also, as others have said, although the batteries appear to be stuck in the charging station, even walking on carpeted floors will cause them to lose contact and stop charging. Finally I decided to eliminate this problem completely and only bought 16 batteries. rechargeable eneloop batteries so I can charge them off the Wii motes and easily swap them out when needed. So far this is the best solution I've found. Much luck!
