Timer works best in timers

Purchased to control street Christmas lights. I just set the timer to 8 hours and it's been working fine for the past week or so. I didn't play around with the remote as the instructions were confusing on how the remote would cancel the timer. The price was good compared to similar products. It's not compatible with Alexa or Google, if that's what you want.
