Much less than expected. The hands hardly fit in the straps. I love the style and colors so I'm saving it to use as a crochet or makeup bag. It will come in handy in one way or another. I really wanted a big lunch bag. **Update** on this point, based on my previous post I should have at least tried and loved this lunch tote. What I found is that it's roomy, I can fit 2 food prep containers and snacks in. So it's roomy in that regard. As for height, I'm still struggling with colleagues to make our bags fit, but that's not the bag's fault. The issue with the pen mentioned above is minimal and I was being a bit unfair. Because it works. How unique it is, it compares to what everyone else has. I've received many compliments on the look of this bag. Not that I would, but hey. I rather enjoy this bag.
