Review on VASOYO Black Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink - 25X22 Inch Topmount Drop In Sink With 16 Gauge Deep Single Bowl And Cutting Board Included by Matthew Wheeler

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fair value - nightmare install

This sink is a very nice upgrade from our original kitchen sink. The material is at least twice as thick as our old sink and is both heavy and heavy duty. I had to do some slight mods to my cabinet base to accommodate it, but that is not a reflection of the sink. Just know that if you are replacing a sink with rounded corners, this sinks corners are squarer (or less rounded) than your old kitchen sink and may fight the fit. The sink also has a ever so slight warp to its top. Now if this were a thin metal sink, the warp would go away as you tighten it to your counter. Not with this sink. The metal is about 3/16 of an inch thick which will not flatten out a warp. Now for the really nasty bit. This demon was a very difficult install. The clip system is not all what I would call sturdy or durable. No matter how I tried, I could not get the clips to fully tighten to my existing base because I had little room to work. This sink would best be installed as an under mount or installed into a base designed to its specifications. The cutting board and roller rack are convenient, but will not last. The roller rack already has a break in the rubber material between the rollers, but is still functional.

Pros
  • Half the price as one I found locally. Great to work in. Not so easy to clean with rack in.
Cons
  • The sink may be too large or heavy for some kitchen countertops
