It's definitely worth $40.

They say there are no duplicate games, but there are a lot of them. You've got Sonic, you've got Pac-Man, Miss Pac-Man, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, X-Men, Spider-Man, Ghostbusters 2, Mutant Ninja Turtles, Super Mario Bros, a whole bunch of Super Mario Bros, 4 mortals fights Some games don't work, the down arrow key sometimes stays pressed and you have to touch it to bring it back up. I have saved games but I can't find the saved games. I think I need to read the manual a bit more. The battery was already charged when I received the console, I have no idea how long the battery will last. I think the game console is worth the price, but the little round joystick with an arrow is useless. There is no AV cable included to connect the TV.

Pros

Maintain game archive. During gameplay, press the SELECT button to save/exit/restart the game. Next time you continue playing, you can load and save your progress without restarting. This is a very useful feature.
