work great and my fish love to play with them. My pH has dropped to a lower level that my fish prefer. It also gives my tank a great natural look made entirely out of live plants and driftwood suitable for the natural environment all my fish typically live in. I love them and recommend them, but I'm in no rush to add more cones. They are very effective at lowering pH, so add them slowly and check often.
