Review on πŸšͺ ClosetMaid Dark Cherry 1307: Efficient Stackable 2-Door Closet Organizer by Monica Smith

Fragile and wobbly handles.

I needed the ClosetMaid, Dark Cherry 1307 Stackable 2-Door Organizer because it is the only item that will fit and replace an existing bookshelf that I had without doors and I needed these Option with doors. This item was fairly easy to assemble, but I find it best to install the handles after hammering in the nails to attach the back panel to the frame. Pulling doors without installed handles shouldn't be too much of a hassle. Doors without handles can be opened by inserting a bent wire into the handle holes in the shape of a hook. What I like: 1. The finish is decent.2. Easy to assemble.3. Looks sturdy enough for a bookshelf. What I don't like about this item: 1. The doors don't match.2. Handles are cheap plastic, similar to frozen dough, have no metal inserts inside for screws to catch and easily break.3. The price is too high for the quality of the item as I had to buy metal pins from the aftermarket to replace the pins this item came with. As of 2021, it costs no more than $50. With pens like that, I would avoid the subject altogether. See photos. Overall disappointing.
