I bought them for a Fiat 500 and I was afraid they would be difficult to install because everything on this car is a nightmare. However, they went in easily with a little adjustment and look great. The beam is fairly even and smooth, unlike halogen bulbs. Well it's not day or night but it's a big difference and a lot whiter light. In comparison, halogens appear yellow. The fans are quite large, but you don't hear them, and the light stays cool even after prolonged use. It's very cold right now, so I don't have a chance to test them in hot conditions, but I can confirm that they work in cold conditions (below 30 degrees Fahrenheit) and turn on with no issues. They are waterproof to a degree and moisture shouldn't be a problem with these bulbs and with normal use I think they will be fine. One of their advantages over discharge lamps is that they turn on instantly. You don't have to wait for them to fade to make them look like halogen bulbs. I am satisfied with these lamps and have no criticism of them. I installed many LED bulbs and they are very similar to other models. So far all the LED bulbs I've used have been reliable and I haven't had a single failure yet. I've had a lot of issues with HID over the years so overall I'm happy with LEDs and considering how much brighter they are than halogen this is definitely something to look forward to.
