Unfortunately, the old adage is true. You get what you pay for.
After reading some forums comparing this filter to all the big brands it definitely looks ineffective as a true water separator. and at this point I'm not sure I trust the Mikron rating. I bought one and did some more testing before installing it. Just watch part 2 of the diesel filter shootout. If ifjf can't increase it, I won't trust my expensive fuel system for that part. stick with acdelco. My filter even seemed loose on the inside, as if the plastic filter and metal can weren't properly sealed.
