installed on an AMC 304. After I installed the coil my motor system was no longer reliable. The electrical system just shut down suddenly. The system also failed and shut down under heavy loads such as hard acceleration and hill climbing. The instructions say don't use a ballast resistor and you could open a gap in the connector that will stress the coil. So I reinstalled the ballast resistor and reset the connector to stock to see if that would improve the behavior of the coils. It became reliable for a few days, then died and never started again. Both the coil and my ignition control module have burned out. Don't waste money on it. Spend a little more money and find a HEI dealer instead.
