Doesn't work on VW or Audi and I think on BMW too because they are German. But the problem was that the taillights of German cars were pulsing. So if you have a good multimeter and set the minimum and maximum values, you will see that the minimum value is 0V and the maximum value is 12V. The voltage jumps up and down and prevents the module from working. I just wish someone would have said that before I installed and soldered all my wires. It's repairable, all you need is a capacitor. As with the 4.7 uF capacitor, simply connect the short negative lead to the brake and the long positive lead to the brake light. Remember to install a capacitor before this module. I've read it's 3 stars because it's not what is advertised BUT it only works on American and Japanese vehicles.
