This box seemed perfect for what I needed: a box for a set of drawing pencils, my new electric eraser and all its components, and a set of brass sharpeners. The size is great. The latch is upside down though, which is odd and doesn't really matter much unless someone knew and turned the box over to open it, then everything would fall out. handle, all contents move to different compartments. Since it's not that expensive and a good size, I decided to cut the inserts out of 1/4" thick heavy duty foam rubber and use them as the "lids" for the compartments, so my sharpeners and small pencils would stay in the compartments when lifting and shifting the box. If you only want to leave the box in one place, that's fine. Just bad design. Actually not recommended.
