We love to buy centuries-old buildings. They always come with a handful of problems, and this one really had its fair share. Our problem was that in our showcases I lower the ceilings and they are in the original fixtures or they don't slide out, we would have to rip out the ceilings in the showcases to get these fixtures flush with the ceiling, they really weren't that far from the bulb to the sockets. Old light bulbs have a long reach, but those made today have a much shorter stem. I don't know if it's LED stuff or current. Everything is fine, he really saved us thousands of dollars to renovate the 100+ year old windows.
