Review on Five Ten Sleuth Mountain Bike Men's Shoes for Athletic by Mat Thompson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Very narrow and long with a thin sole

I rode 2,500 miles from Key West to Luebeck, Maine in these shoes. I have two main problems. Firstly I have a wide foot but I usually buy a size 11 to cover the width. The shoes look longer than usual and definitely narrower. I should have known - my previous experience has told me that Adidas shoes are for narrow feet. The second issue is that the sole is very thin and doesn't provide enough insulation from my steel pedals in cold weather. Also, after 2500 miles of riding, the outsole seems to have lost all the stiffness that a cycling shoe should have.

Cons
  • Looks nice but doesn't fit. Will have to return. It's more than it should be.
