reading reviews had problems with programming. I had no problems at all. If you have precise instructions, it will only take a few minutes. I have a 2006 GMC Envoy and programming my remote was quick and easy. Here are the simple instructions I followed. #1: Close all doors and put the key in the ignition. #2: Press and hold the unlock button on the driver's door. #3: Turn the key to the on and off position twice. #4: Release the door unlock button and you will hear the doors lock and unlock. This lets you know you are in programming mode. #5: Simultaneously press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the remote. Hold the buttons down until you hear the lock cycle. #6: Immediately repeat step #5 to program all remotes. Note. Entering vehicle programming mode will disable any existing remote controls, so all remote controls must be programmed during this process.
