(Mr here bought this for my wife's account) Update 3/24/21: Contacted the seller , who was very quick to respond and very helpful, I realized I had to connect the battery to the controller first before connecting the solar panel. Once I got it right, the auxiliary circuit worked fine. Over time, I plan to buy a better controller, but now there's nothing to rush. I would also like to point out that it was very cloudy here this morning but the solar panel was still putting out a very good 17-18 volts. I am very happy to see this. We'll see how it holds up when I start it in the next few months, but so far so good. The quality of electronic products from China is getting better and better. Too bad there are so few of these US made items to choose from as I would definitely pay more for a US made item. I think most American consumers don't really understand how completely China currently dominates the electronics industry. Almost none of the many products you can buy at Revain are made locally, which is a real shame. Hope that changes soon. But I digress. _________________________________ Initial review: A solid 18V +/- in the sunlight and even on a cloudy day shows around 16V so the panel appears to be of good quality. The problem is that the supplied charge controller is defective and there is no power output at all on the auxiliary circuit. No, zero, nada. The battery circuit reads very strongly, so this part works fine. It kind of doesn't make sense to buy the whole kit if I still need to buy another charge controller to take full advantage of it. I don't have all the packaging, so returns are not possible. I would give a full 5 stars if the charge controller works as it should.
