I think this tape is great. I use double sided tape to secure lumber blanks for milling with a CNC router. I have tried several different brands of tape, but I have decided to stick with this TYLife tape. I usually cut the tape, but I find it tears pretty easily for those of you who want to tear the tape. It seems to stick at least as well as any other tape I’ve used (maybe better), and without excessive pressure being applied. It is sometimes difficult to separate the work from the table when I’m done, but this is a good thing. A putty knife under the edge of the work causes the tape to release from one surface. It comes off the other surface much easier than other tapes I have used, and leaves no apparent residue. And… it costs a little less than the other tapes I have been using. What more could I ask for in a double sided tape?UPDATE 07.25.2022: After using this tape for quite some time now, I find it does not stick as well as it did initially. It is probably an issue related to shelf life. So, don't stock up. I would estimate you should not get more tape than you can use up in about 12 to 14 months. After that, performance seems to deteriorate some. I am probably asking too much for the tape to last longer. There is very little left on the roll.UPDATE 10.29.2022: This tape's performance continued to deteriorate toward the end of the roll. It also didn’t seem to tear as easily as it did originally. I am less than pleased with it now. I have revised my headline and reduced my rating to 3 stars. I think it is fine provided you use it quickly. By that I mean within a year. I’m sorry if I mislead anyone by my original review. This is why I like to have things a long time before I review them.
