Exactly what I was looking for.

This is a great solution for my BMW R1200GS with the factory GPS mount. You remove the OEM protective pad and stick it directly. It comes with an extra bracket which I don't need - I assume you want to completely remove and install the Navigator bracket(?). Anyway, I just plugged it in instead of the GPS unit and that was all I had to do. It fits, albeit not very easily. I had to use some force to get the bottom piece into the groove and then the top piece snapped into place, but it snapped in nicely. The biggest downside for me would be that it's a bit bulky - imagine a BMW Navigator but a bit thicker THEN mount your phone on it. So yes. IMO, that can be reduced a bit. I don't have an LCD on my GS and if I tilt it too low it obscures the view of the top of the tachometer. I'm not sure how it would be with the new LCDs, but I better imagine it. The solution is to rotate the stock Nav mount up slightly. I was definitely able to find a nice spot where I could see both my phone and the full-size cluster without having the mount at a ridiculously high angle. Aside from that, it does exactly what I wanted: it holds my phone where the standard GPS would be, and has two working USB ports should I want to charge my phone too - and I can do that without having to connect to the Aux jack. The cost is about the same as installing a ram mount and although I have a ram mount and have used it in the past I honestly prefer it on my R1200GS as it makes the bike look cleaner and holds my sat nav phone good view. I've seen several other similar mounts at Revain that cost more than twice the price and I knew when I bought this one that I was going to roll the dice. Luckily it was a win. I see no need to pay more as other products I've seen looked almost exactly the same. If you have a GS and are looking for a similar solution, this product is worth trying.
