Stupid maybe, but he does what he has to do.
I even bought it for the passenger seat to take the kennel to the vet. Animals no longer slide backwards into the kennel. But it's also great for organizing things that pile up on the seat (masks, hand sanitizer, phone) without taking up cup holder space. I am very happy with my purchase.
