This was just the perfect product I needed for my laptop. I bought a new laptop that only has a USB port, but I've found that I need to connect more than one USB device from time to time. This little center is perfect! The price was great and it does exactly what I need. It has 4 ports and I used up to 3 at the same time (mouse, keyboard* and phone). It charges the phone while it's plugged in.* Why would I need to plug in a keyboard when I have a laptop you ask? Well, that's because this crappy laptop loses the ability to recognize its own keyboard. It's a Microsoft Surface and it's the worst laptop ever, so bonus rating: don't buy a Microsoft laptop! The first time the keyboard failed I took it back to Best Buy where they reinstalled my OS. It helped, but after 4 months everything happened again. So I bought this little device to connect an external keyboard and mouse. About a month later, the laptop keyboard was working again. It's only 10 months old and has caused me more grief than any laptop I've ever owned. But thank goodness for that little 4-port hub; I'm sure I'll be needing it many, many times! I am very happy with this port hub!
