This water based solution is the only thing I don't like about 3M. They usually have excellent products, but the water dries in the form of stains on the tires, very noticeable, and what a stick doesn't last long. This is the case with a properly washed, cleaned, dried and prepared tire. waste of money. ***Revised my original review*** While all of the above still applies (water stains don't last long), using a clean rag after application a few minutes after the water stains are still there will remove the water stains and leaves a black finish. NOT shiny, but black. Still I won't buy again.
