I would not call these swivel stools at all. In order for the seat to truly and easily "swivel" you need to keep the bolt loose, which then causes the seat to be extremely wobbly, even at only 30 inches high. If you tighten the bolt to stop the wobbling then the seat does not swivel. It will tightly turn right or left but that is not true swiveling. Also, there is nothing to prevent them from continue to swivel if you keep the bolt loose, thus lowering or highering the seat unintentionally. the bolt also doesn't lock.Otherwise, they look nice and the seat is rustic and sturdy looking. Just very disappointed at the lack of actual swivel seats. Especially for the price.
