Review on πŸ”© Stainless Steel Drywall Anchors with Tapping Screws by Andrew Gomez

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Perfect shit. Best Fasteners

kill my life I can't understand where they get good reviews from. It's terrible! They weren't cheap so I was expecting relatively good quality, but no. I tried using them a few days ago and it was a disaster. They break so easily that you can hardly use them! The screws kept breaking the wall plugs, and the screws that came with it were too short, so the ones I screwed into the wall proved wobbly. I ended up putting 6 holes in my wall because they broke countless times! I hang and work with drywall anchors all the time so I know it's not on my side, I ran out of my good ones and was too lazy to run to Lowe's and buy more. So I thought they looked good, pretty good reviews why not? Tried using them again today, thought I might have done something wrong, didn't want to leave a bad review unless I give them another chance. It was stupid of me. I passed 5 anchors! 5! I pre-drilled the hole and used a hand screwdriver instead of my drill to insert the dowels. I turned very slowly to prevent the dowel from snapping and they kept clicking and breaking the Phillips insert! I've attached a picture of some. I had to use pliers to remove two holes from the wall. The only way to save the section already drilled is to fill the holes with massive bolts. Looks damn stupid, but is hidden behind the topic. I would rate this 0 stars if I could, that's what I get for laziness! I'll stick with my high quality anchors, thanks.
