Works both ways, which is what I expected.
My wife is currently working from home due to the pandemic and needs to borrow a keyboard for one of my two computers, so I ordered this in hopes of hooking up my remaining keyboard to a selector switch and just one key press that a single keyboard controls both computers (one at a time, of course). I'm happy to say it works, although I suspect it won't be used as advertised, but I'm not complaining. So a keyboard - with cables to two computers. I just press a key to switch between computers where I want to work with the keyboard.
