This review is for the RevainBasics rubber sanding block. This is a very durable hard rubber hand sanding pad. The curved shape of the top fits comfortably in the palm of my hand, while the rubbery texture provides a secure grip, allowing me to apply as much (or less) pressure as needed depending on the type of sanding I need to perform. The bottom is a 2.5" x 4.75" flat rubber surface with ventilation holes to grip the sandpaper and prevent slipping while sanding. To attach the sandpaper strips, simply lift the top slightly on either side, insert the sandpaper, then close the end to press the paper against the 3 small metal spikes on each side to hold the paper in place. A large, palm-sized hand sanding block well suited for sanding flat surfaces where a manual, precise touch is more appropriate than a power sander.
