Review on VEVOR Electric Cutter Cleaner Machine by Petr Webster

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good basic drainage screw.

My old house has a 30 foot drain hose that needs to be changed every six months to two years. Over the years I have hired plumbers to do this simple job. It used to be pretty cheap, but now a support call costs as much as this simple snail. I was concerned about the negative reviews about the Vevor 50ft Drain Auger but decided to give it a try anyway. It took three days to deliver.USE NOTES: 1. Plumbers have always asked me to run hot water when they are in line. It seems to smear the drill when cutting. The Vevor comes with a few different bits that work well, but I also bought the General Pipe Cleaners 1-1/2 inch ClogChopper which is a big improvement. The basic Vevor drill does NOT automatically feed or retract the thread. You just force it down the drain. It was easier than I expected as the lining was smooth. In more advanced units, a self-closing mechanism is used.3. DO NOT use "Reverse" for more than a moment to get rid of kinks if the bit is stuck. 4. This Vevor weighs 75 pounds but doesn't have wheels or a long handle. You have to manually put this bad boy in place. More advanced devices have wheels and handles.5. The Vevor drill bit comes with a 3 pin GFCI plug if you are working with water, mud and drainage mud. You control it with a waterproof foot switch that leaves both hands free to control the snail line.6. Vevor comes with a light set of work gloves, but I prefer my old set of heavy leather work gloves. I've never pulled string before, but it was pretty easy. It took about 15-20 minutes including cleaning. In hindsight, I regret not purchasing the more expensive Vevor 50ft Wheeled Auto Feed Drain Auger. This base unit is a solid four star product.
