They are good for the price but not the best quality. When closing the vacuum seal you will notice that the springs/levers inside are a bit cheap and sometimes when closing the rubber/plastic seal will slip and prevent it from seating properly. One of my jars was broken when I received it, the sealing lever wouldn't go down/close causing the jar not to close at all, but my husband managed to fix it by getting the plastic parts to move a bit. The containers themselves are ok, the plastic is a little flimsy but strong enough for storage. Overall they are good for their price but not the best quality. Don't expect home and garden quality from them, but they are better than the cheapest brands and they are effective.
