Case is hot as lava, fans on max

Model 4k 2080: Good: - excellent 4k screen, super bright. Possibly the best laptop screen available right now. - Excellent build quality - Games run very well, even at 4k on medium and high settings. constantly under the impression of the power of this machine. The processor stays at an acceptable temperature, but the laptop body gets so hot that some parts of it can burn you. This is no exaggeration. It heats up so much that my hands get sweaty when using it, making the laptop uncomfortable to use. - Fans must be on MAX when launching games or the laptop will heat up even more than I described above - Turn on Razer Synapse settings. Low GPU and CPU performance results in even more heat than in manual mode with fans at max - with fans at max this laptop goes from quiet to INCREDIBLY LOUD - you can't just enable GPU switching on this computer. this requires a reboot of the entire system. and then the monitor only runs at 60hz, not at 120hz. This is unacceptable to me as nowhere was it advertised that we cannot put the laptop into graphics switching mode without restarting the computer and lowering the screen frequency to 60Hz. 60 Hertz? really razor? The more I use this machine, the more frustrated I get with what I have to live with. it is a contradictory experience. This is a LOUD, LOUD laptop with inadequate cooling and a chassis that heats up like molten lava when gaming.

Pros
  • I like everything so far
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
