Just what I needed to connect my old monitor to my laptop dock
I found an old monitor in the attic and decided to add it as a third monitor but my laptop dock wasn't working. There is no space for another VGA connection. This adapter allowed me to use the display port on the docking station to connect a monitor. Nothing flashy or high class, but perfectly usable.
