Review on Beamy by David Dortch

We use beAMY to keep our infrastructure running smoothly, by monitoring everything that happens in both production environments as well as test systems - including Elastic Beanstalk instances for all applications we are managing at KPMG Digital Experience Hub London (DEH-London). The ability of creating custom rules was not present when I first started working here but is now being actively developed so this has been recently added! Some time ago there were some issues regarding alerts which had impact sometimes negatively on users workflows. These have since then improved significantly, however it would still very useful if those could also alert upon reaching certain limits/thresholds during an instance's lifetime or while waiting until recovery from failures etc. If you need robust solutions providing excellent visibility into your AWS environment without any additional costs it definitely deserves consideration.
