The camera and grip can be easily installed in place of the stock non-camera grip. The image quality is excellent, and the quality of night shots in low light conditions is very good. The only thing I complain about is the view range. Its looks are great for a trailer, but it's not as good as a backup camera. It can't "see" backwards more than 5 feet, which is almost useless if you're trying to get back into a parking space. This can help you stop before you hit the bumper of the car behind you. And visibility is great enough to keep tires and rims off curbs when reversing. But you'll have to use the side mirrors for the most part, and switching between them and the rear camera is intimidating.
