VTS11HD Vehicle Specific Camera F 150 Review

Installed on my 2009 F150 a few months after purchase as I had to wait for help from friends. The picture is great but the field of view is terrible compared to other rear cameras I've seen. I contacted the seller about a return policy but they denied my request and only offered $10 for another of their poor quality products. No thank you!

Fast delivery and reasonable price. This type was chosen due to the variety of emblems, for ease of installation and also because it incorporates a CCD camera instead of a CMOS camera. Installation took a couple of hours, with most of the time being spent securing the cable under the truck. Connected to an Alpine X008U AVN receiver that delivers good picture quality day and night.

The camera and grip can be easily installed in place of the stock non-camera grip. The image quality is excellent, and the quality of night shots in low light conditions is very good. The only thing I complain about is the view range. Its looks are great for a trailer, but it's not as good as a backup camera.
