Ordered this because I have discolored well water. I wanted "clean" ice and water for the fridge. It was easy to install. Comes with a plastic water line to connect to the fridge - a stainless steel braided line would have been better instead. The rest uses "quick connections" - VERY GOOD! You can't just plug in 1 water jug - it has to be 2 - otherwise the water will be pumped out through the open pipe. The pump is LOUD. I'm going to get a cupboard to put water jugs and a pump in. Hopefully this will reduce the pump noise. The pump only works when filling the ice tray with water or when water is drawn off - so at least no constant pump noise. In general, this is exactly what I needed and the price was right!
